Dr. Bill and Marie Hennessy have been Assemblies of God missionaries since 1995.  Along with their four children, they ministered in Nigeria and South Africa where they trained African leaders and planted 19 churches.  Prior to their missionary service, Bill and Marie pastored for more than 14 years in Missouri, Washington and Idaho.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master of Science in Communication and earned the Doctor of Ministry degree in 1997. Marie holds an LPN certification, an Associate of Arts degree in Bible and is completing her course work for Registered Nursing.

The Hennessys work with Network 211, where Bill is the Director of Social Networking and a featured blogger.  Network211 uses social networking to engage community members in seven Christian disciplines: witness, discipleship, prayer, teaching, fellowship and support (Acts 2:42-47). The overall purpose is to build the body of Christ around the world.

Bill also serves as the 121 Director, coordinating the discipleship aspect of Project 10Million, a global Internet evangelism project  that will reach 10million people in 10 years with Christ’s message. There have been nearly 3.5 unique vistors to the evangelism sites with more than 85,000 entering into discipleship through 121.

In addition to serving as Assemblies of God missionaries, the Hennessys are active in their local church while their children, Thomas, James and Bethany are involved in ministry to youth and children. Their oldest daughter Rachel is married to Daniel Joubert, who works int Global University's international enrollment office. They have one grand daughter, Elmarie Rose who is 1 1/2 years old.
